About Steelowl

Since you’re here I guess I’ll introduce myself. I’m Steelowl,  I’ve retained my name from when I used to play world of warcraft. I have always derived enjoyment from optimizing and finding creative ways to do things in video games. There aren’t too many games I’ve played that I haven’t crunched numbers and looked for the “optimal” way to play.

This blog is devoted to taking my findings and sharing them. If there is something about my methods that you disagree with please let me know. I don’t pretend to automatically know the best way to do things and can only relate what I’ve experienced myself. Just keep in mind that while I do try to optimize I’m rarely satisfied with the idea that there is only one way to do things. As such I will try to present not only what most people have found works but potential alternatives I have discovered.

If you have any questions or concerns feel free to comment on my blog or email me

  1. I have found your site here very interesting and reinforces many of my thoughts and the way I play for coin and experience.

    HOWEVER–FYI:

One thing I tried was to scoop up some additional chicken coops. I followed the instructions you listed. I aquired 6 coops that went into my gift box. When I opened more then one, a box came up and said site was out of snyc. Once it shuts down and reopens there is only one coop out and the rest goes back into the gift box. I tried several times and all ended the same. In fact most of the time jammed the site and I had to totally close down. So that’s my experience. I was wondering why others didn’t have more. Thanks.

    • yeah, it seems that the developer wised up to that bug and made it so that if you attempt to place a 2nd coop it puts your game out of sync. Interestingly though. You can still stock up on a ton of coops and then sell them off one at a time for eggs and money so, it’s not a complete bust.
